contentment in resignment

K sent me a recent pic of himself. He's looking rather youthful and though he may not point it out himself it seems the Hawaiian climate has done wonders for his own climate. I would love to be able to retire that way in my life, though it probably wouldn't be an apartment in Hawaii, more like a modestly sized studio flat lined with walls of books in Nob Hill or North Beach in San Francisco.
