That's his name that I christened him. He was my birthday gift from Nanay and our good friend and next door neighbour B. That's not him in the picture but he looks very much like that, a red angel's wing without the angel, floating and undulating in water. He's very friendly, too. When I put my face to the glass to say hi he responds by getting as close to me as possible on his side and nudging. Sometimes he just stares at me.

I wish I could hug him. That's why I never really considered fish for pets. You can't hug them. I have to be able to hug my pet. But I suppose his nudging the glass can be the next best thing. I think if he could he would like to be hugged.

I plan on getting him a bigger bowl, the one he came in is around the same size as that in the picture. I want a bigger bowl for him so he can swim around and get more excercise. I want some stones in there, too, and perhaps a seashell. He needs a bit of furniture.
