I'm on the verge of becoming yet another better version of myself. After recently converting to full time status at the museum I'm in the process of, well, processing the benefits I'm entitled to - health, vision, dental, etc. - and I'm damn well taking advantage of all of them.
Today I also received a mailer from a fitness center, once that's near me. It's a sign for me, in invitation for serious progress. I've been meaning to join a gym for a long time but, like most of you out there, I've had my excuses not to - too poor, too lazy, too low self-esteem. And yet I have now run out of excuses to not be an optimized, upgraded me: alien 2.0 (or at the very least, 1.5).
I'll be using the coupon this coming week, the rate seems damn cheap compared to other chains. I want to take a few classes - yoga, body sculpting, kick boxing - mostly for cardio and toning. Can't wait, can't wait.
I've always been lean but I've been told I have potential. Still, I'm not interested in being all muscles, I just want to tone up and look better. Besides, I'm not getting younger (none of us are, you know) so it's a great reward, feeling energetic and strong and bouncy. LOL!! Bouncy alien. How 'bout that?
